PurityChrom® MCC Plus

PurityChrom MCC Plus is a special version of our purification software PurityChrom® enabling monitoring of up to 16 data channels and controlling of up to 8 isocratic pumps.

The MCC Plus version provides a user-friendly and clearly structured interface to have a good overview of even complex preparative systems. The system visualization offers a graphical representation of the purification system and allows easy handling even of complex flow processes. Furthermore, each device that is displayed in the fluidic scheme can be manually controlled, giving the opportunity to optimize, change and adapt your conditions during the run. Due to its high flexibility, methods can be developed according to specific demands.

You have the option to create a method based on volume, column volume, or time, but please mention that PurityChrom MCC Plus calculates the volume and the column volume based on the flow rates summed up from all pumps in the system. There is also a possibility to pause or to change the method parameters during the run, which gives you complete control over your chromatography process. In PurityChrom you can define important functions in your method with variables. This allows you to write methods that can be adapted more flexibly to a specific sample or column, just before the run with only one click. In combination with the sequence table, a quick and easy method scouting provides you with the best method for your purification problem in less time. Furthermore, the sequence table helps to automate purification and CIP protocols.

For fractionation, you can use a fractionation valve as well as a fraction collector. However, autosampler control and related features are not supported by PurityChrom MCC Plus.

Current guidelines and regulations like 21 CFR part 11 are considered in the software. PurityChrom allows flexible support of different devices from KNAUER and other manufactures. Please check for more information about supported devices the Release Notes of the latest PurityChrom MCC Plus version. With an unlimited number of free offline licenses, you can write methods and evaluate runs on any computer of your choice, without blocking the system. Furthermore, we offer free updates for PurityChrom MCC Plus as well as a demo license that can be used to get a first impression of the software user interface.
