The KNAUER Eurospher II Chiral AM and OM materials are coated polysaccharide chiral stationary phases (CSPs) made with a spherical high quality silica gel. Due to the coated nature of the stationary phase, solvents should be carefully selected.
The KNAUER Eurospher II Chiral NR phase is an immobilized phase and much more stable in various eluents, but at the same time not as versatile as the coated CSPs.
