The Multi Column Base Bio was specifically designed for high resolution columns but can also accommodate any conventional LC or FPLC columns using rack adapters.
The Multi Column Base Bio is equipped with a unique central cooling feature, requiring no cold room space. This benchtop cooling system provides cooling for the filtration processes conducted for medium-pressure liquid chromatography. By means of external thermostats, the glass columns can be tempered to temperatures between 2 °C and 60 °C. A total of 3 glass columns can be mounted to the Multi Column Base Bio. It is also possible to integrate a fraction collector.
