Si columns for Normal Phase and HILIC applications (USP L3)
Unmodified Silica gel materials were the first ones used for chromatography. This is the reason the mode is called "Normal phase" (NP).

Ultra pure, spherical high performance HPLC phase based on silica gel
No modification, no endcapping, with 0 % carbon content
hydrophilic interaction
High-class HPLC phase perfectly suited to take on routine analyses as well as the most ambitious chromatography tasks, classical C18 phase with ca. 50 % endcapping and resulting 16 % carbon content, outstanding mechanical and chemical stability.
Bare Si phase based on ultra-pure silica gel (purity > 99 %), metal content < 10 ppm, pH-stability 2 - 8, pore size 100 A, particle size 3 μm, 5 μm, 10 μm (15 μm, 20 – 45 μm on request)
Wide range of different applications, i.e. SEC (size exclusion chromatography) but also for normal phase HPLC and HILIC; good choice for analytical and preparative purposes to separate polar compounds
Spherical high performance HPLC phase based on silica gel
No modification, no endcapping, with 0 % carbon content
Eurospher 100 packing material can be universally used in different application areas and has been on the market for more than 25 years. Eurospher 100 Si is a typical representative of the first generation of high performance spherical silica gels. It is a good choice for analytical and preparative applications. Eurospher Si is available in several particle sizes and is also a good alternative for preparative purposes. Unmodified Eurospher 100 Si can be used to perform separations of polar compounds such as aflatoxins and anisoles.

The ProntoSIL is the silica support of the Alliance for Chromatography. Due to the fact that it is manufactured under very stringent conditions the resulting silica has a purity of 99.999%. The optimum manufacturing process guarantees an excellent batch to batch reproducibility. The silica is available in several particle and pore sizes. Therefore a wide range of different applications, i.e. in SEC (Size Exclusion Chromatography) but also for the NP HPLC of large molecules is given.
