Yes it is generally possible to switch from NP to RP mode with one HPLC system but we recommend using KNAUER pumps for NP because the check valves are optimized for the use of normal phase solvents. When using only one system it has to be considered that the system components have to be flushed with isopropanol as an intermediate step.
