  CEO receives “Berlin family entrepreneur of the year 2024” award

  Alexandra Knauer was honored by the association “Die Familien­unter­nehmer” (The family entre­preneurs) at a festive evening event at Soho House Berlin on October 8. The Berlin regional chapter of the association, which sees itself as representing the interests of over 180 thousand family businesses in Germany, annually honors an outstanding entre­preneurial personality. The award ceremony was held under the motto “Innovation and sustainability in family busi­nesses: Taking responsibility for the future”.

  Sustainability Week at KNAUER

  From September 23 to 27, 2024, KNAUER and its employees once again organized a sustainability week with a series of exciting and effective activities relating to social responsibility and environ­mental sustainability. The charitable “The Hand Project” was also a guest and provided a moving experience. Under professional guidance, KNAUER employees from various depart­ments assembled four mechanical prosthetic hands to be donated and fitted to people in need in countries like Uganda and Nepal.

  We mourn the loss of Dr.-Ing. Herbert Knauer

  Our company founder passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 92, surrounded by his family. His smile, his optimism and his passionate commitment to scientific instruments, especially HPLC, will live on in our hearts and in our company. Our thoughts and sympathy are with his family at this difficult time.
