Every column has a preferred flow direction. The flow direction of KNAUER columns is indicated with an arrow on the column label. This is also the direction the column was packed. It is possible to run the column in reversed flow direction but the filters on the columns inlet and outlet need to have the same pore size. It is not assured that the column will provide the same quality when operated in reversed direction.
