KNAUER Advanced Bio Purification System
A more advanced set up is the set up with sample pump. Hereby, the column selection and outlet valve, as well as a sample pump must be added to the Advanced Bio Purification System. The sample pump is used to apply the sample onto the column. The peak eluting from the first column is collected in the clean sample loop of the injection valve minimizing the risk of cross contamination during first peak collection. Therefore, the reinjection position of the outlet valve is connected to the syringe port of the injection valve. This set ups allows the loading of large sample volumes. The injection of small sample volumes is not supported.
